Hippity Hoppity…Don’t Miss This Easter Egg Hunt

We’ll be posting about Easter activities in Darien shortly, but in the meantime, we wanted to let you know about this super fun egg hunt for kids ages 2 to 10 at the New Canaan Nature Center. The Great Egg Hunt and Spring Celebration will be held on Friday and Saturday April 11th and 12th as well as Saturday April 19th, and kids will be invited to explore the miracle of springtime by meeting warm and fuzzy spring animals (baby chicks and rabbits, plus some friends from Hop Along Hollow—a rabbit rescue group). Families will enjoy the spring weather with a self-guided scavenger hunt on the nature center’s wooded trails. If you’re up for more of a challenge, you can try your hand at the Spoon/Egg Obstacle Course. But get your tickets now—because the hunt groups are small, this event is always a sell out. Timed tickets ($10 per child for members; $15 per child for non-members) are available on the New Canaan Nature Center’s website.
